Amanda L. Tate is a Partner with the law firm of Federico Schwartz Merolesi & Lyddane, LLP and has over 15 years of experience in litigating multifaceted medical malpractice and mixed medical/general negligence actions. She is a fierce and zealous advocate for her clients, who include physicians and major hospital systems. She brings a creative and dynamic approach to her practice by appropriately exploring early resolution and successfully obtaining dismissals, both pre-suit and through summary judgment. Her innovative thinking and keen attention to detail allow each case to be comprehensively analyzed from inception through trial.
Amanda’s in depth procedural knowledge, as well as her understanding of complex medicine, has allowed for the continued elevation of her practice. She has extensive appellate experience, having drafted and argued appeals and motions at the Appellate Division and the Court of Appeals. Further, she has also litigated cases in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
