With over 20 years of legal experience, Sara Jane Moutal has worked exclusively in the medical malpractice field since the start of her career, zealously defending such cases from their commencement to trial.  

Sara’s practice is concentrated on the defense of hospitals, physicians, nurses and other health care providers in a broad range of high exposure medical malpractice litigation and professional negligence claims.  Such matters include those involving alleged obstetrical malpractice, wrongful death, lead exposure, products liability, failure to diagnose cancer and surgical complications. Sara’s practice also includes counseling clients on matters of risk management, premises liability, insurance coverage issues, and investigations by the New York City and New York State Departments of Health.  

Prior to joining the firm, Sara was an associate and partner at a New York City medical malpractice defense firm and thereafter was Of Counsel to a medical malpractice firm in Westchester.
