Kari A. Merolesi is a founding member of Federico Schwartz Merolesi & Lyddane. As a senior attorney, Kari has litigated claims involving catastrophic injury in medical malpractice for nearly 25 years.

Kari litigates cases in all boroughs of New York City, as well as Long Island, Westchester, Upstate New York and Connecticut. She defends physicians, nurses, hospitals and nursing/rehabilitation facilities in a wide range of claims. She has also litigated claims of premises liability. Kari has argued before the appellate courts, as well as before agencies involving physician discipline. Kari has vast experience in handling all claims from inception to trial.

Kari has been recognized as a New York Super Lawyer from 2018 through the present. She has been invited to lecture before several agencies, and is currently editing a publication surrounding nursing home litigation. She is also a member of various Bar Associations.
