Ms. Jen has been an experienced litigator for over a decade, specializing in representing major hospital institutions, nursing and rehabilitation facilities, physicians, nurses, physician’s assistants, and other medical professionals. She has successfully defended clients in the New York State trial courts, as well as the Appellate Division and the Court of Appeals.

Ms. Jen has also obtained numerous favorable outcomes for her clients in professional disciplinary matters before the New York State Department of Health, the New York State Office of Professional Discipline, the New York State Justice Center, and other prosecuting agencies. Ms. Jen’s commitment and advocacy of her clients have resulted in the dismissal and the successful early resolution of numerous actions through dispositive motion practice and pre-trial negotiations.

Before joining Federico Schwartz Merolesi & Lyddane LLP, Ms. Jen served as a Partner at two well-recognized New York defense firms, managing the litigation of numerous medical malpractice actions. Ms. Jen’s work has also previously included defending general liability actions, providing legal counsel in the public interest sector, as well as working under the New York State judicial system and various municipal government agencies.
