Yelda brings a diverse background in real estate law, banking, and legislative work to her role at the firm. Prior to joining the firm, she built a strong foundation in transactional and real estate law, with experience in contracts, corporate formation, commercial and residential leasing, and landlord-tenant disputes. She also gained valuable industry insight through her work in the banking and lending sectors.

Yelda previously served in the Office of New York State Senator Shelley Mayer, where she conducted legislative research, drafted bill proposals, and supported community outreach initiatives.

As a Pro Bono Scholar, she dedicated a significant portion of her legal training to public interest work, demonstrating a deep commitment to equity, service, and access to justice. Her multifaceted background allows her to approach legal issues with both precision and perspective
